Snail mailing me a check will still work of
course. This bracket fits both the XR and the CRF 50's. They are identical at
the handlebars. Send to: Jeff McLain, N3399 Cty Tk EE, Appleton WI, 54915
| And yet another
unsolicited review. Really made me smile.
I just wanted to drop you a line and say I wish I would
have seen your product, the High Riser Handle Bar fix, before I spent $200
plus dollars on the Fast 50 set up. You see the thing is I share my XR 50
with my kids. I use the Fast 50 bars when I ride with my buddies in
backyard SX's and when the kids want to ride, I have to go through all the
hassle of putting back on the stock bars. Your product is just a couple of
bolts and can be removed in couple of minutes and the bike is kid ready
again. This would be a great way to market your product, because there are
some many of us working class family's that can only afford one XR/CRF 50.
The Big bar kits are great for my 20 something year old friends who have
no kids and money to blow on their 50's, but for us 30 something year
old dads who want to enjoy a little adult 50 racing on juniors little Xr/CRF
50 this product is a God send! Well, I'll tell all my buddies that have a XR/CRF
50's for their kids, but like to play on them their selves about the
affordable easy to install and remove High Rise Handle Bar Fix. I would
like to hear your thoughts on this. Thank You B M Fresno, c.a.

| Another unsolicited
review.
Jeff,
If you ever need a testimonial, I'm you're
man, so to speak. That thing is great. Makes the bike safer and way more
user friendly for an adult. Nice job. You need to advertise more. eBay
would be a great place to start.
Thanks, Tony

The "High Riser" handlebar fix
moves your STOCK handlebars up 1 1/2" and forward 1
1/2". After using it you'll be amazed at how much more fun it is to ride your
little fiddy. Price is $19.50 plus shipping. They
come unpainted and you can leave them bare for that factory look, or paint them
to match your bike color. It might just be me, but I think it makes the bike
look tougher with the handlebars moved up. Not as small and cramped.
This kit eliminates the need for a
$200 (or more) set-up with new bars, throttle assembly and top triple
clamp, plus the hassle of installing all that stuff. Ooops, forgot you need to
buy new grips also. And try to use your stock
throttle cable with that mess. They say it will fit, and it might, barely. Why
mess with all that junk when one little part can gain you a lot of riding room.
Hardware for mounting is included, and the stock throttle
cable works fine when re-routed to the right side of the frame. It's a 5 minute
job, just unscrew the cap of the carburetor, pull the assembly out the front of
the bike and run it back to the carburetor on the right hand side of the frame
(sitting on the bike).
To install the "High Riser",
just unscrew the stock handlebar assembly, bolt on the
"High Riser" with the included hardware, then using the same nuts that
came off your old handlebars, fasten them to the top of the new bracket. It's
that easy.
This Bad Boy is made of 1/4" thick steel,
and uses high strength grade 8 metric fasteners to secure it so you can rest
assured it will hold up when you need it.

Hi-Riser
Test Period June 2002 to Present
New Product now available to public
Entry level Hi-Riser at a working mans price.
This Product gets a thumbs up. I rate
everything on a scale of 1-10 and this gets a 10. It is a fraction of the
cost of other kits at $19.50 plus s&h. There are no other costs involved.
It utilizes all stock hardware and the kit comes with everything you need
to install it in less than five minutes. If you are looking for an 1 1/2"
up and 1 1/2" forward clearance then this kit is for you.

This kit leaves plenty of room for the
steering head pivot nut. You know, you can make your own for $80, or buy one
of these and save the time and effort. |
 |
Your friends won't even notice anything
different, until you aren't banging your knees on the handlebars any more.
It's night and day compared to stock. |
 |
Bolts up in minutes. I know, I'm all
thumbs but had no problem with this baby. Throttle cable shown rerouted on
the right side. Make sure you still go between the fork legs so your cable
doesn't snag a tree. |
 |
Here's what you get. Bracket and high
strength grade 8 metric fasteners to bolt right onto your existing top
triple clamp. Reuse the existing nuts from your handlebars when you remount
them and you're all set. |

Doug torture testing the high riser off a
little plateau on his national fiddie track. We don't sell junk, we test it
first and make sure it works, and this does. Doug says no flex and was all
smiles. |
Product can also be purchased by mailing me
a check. Be sure to indicate what you want and how many, and include your
